Beach Trip!

So…first strawberry picking, then hiking in PA State Park…now what? How about some more exploring? We haven’t done anything yet in our neighboring state NJ, so let’s go to the Jersey Shore! This is a great way to enjoy the peak of summer! Here are the details:

4th of July Celebration! Starts at 6pm at 1237 N. Howard.

So…what are you doing on Friday the 4th of July?  Hopefully you aren’t at work, which means you can join us for BBQ and Fireworks!  We’ll meet at 6pm Friday at 1237 N Howard St….then make our way down to the Ben Franklin Parkway after getting our fill of food for this: http://www.americasbirthday.com/

chinatown church carnival, saturday 6/21 – 6 to 9pm

Come join our chinatown carnival this saturday.  There will be games and food from 6pm – 9pm for all to enjoy.  If you would like to help setup and man game/food stations, please let me know…volunteers are needed.  This is a great way to get to know the chinatown community just a little better.

Hiking and Housewarming Party!

You know what else is great about summer? The nature and the outdoors. Do you know what the state Pennsylvania means? Penn’s woods. So, what’s a good way of enjoying the woods in this state? Let’s go hiking in a state park! Here are the details:

Ridley Creek State Park near Media and Newtown Square

Ridley Creek State Park is located less than 20 miles west of Center City Philadelphia. There is plenty outdoors stuff to do including 12 miles of trails for hiking.

After hiking, there will be food, fellowship, and fun at a housewarming party. Here are the details:
