This weekend, many of us will bid farewell to our beloved place for community, fellowship, and of course good home-style cooked food. As you know, word on the street is that Lakeside Chinese Deli will be closing this Sunday 12/30 as Auntie Brenda and her staff will embark onto their new journey into retirement.
So my friends, eat up that scrumptious beef brisket hot pot, along with their lightly but heartly crispy squid, topped with their smooth egg sauce over rice for one last time. Also, be sure to thank Auntie Brenda and the rest of the Lakeside family for the many memories over the years and loving us with their hospitality and service to us and the rest of the Chinatown community…
